They say that it’s the little things in life that matter most. Nothing is more true when it comes to transforming your whole look!

The natural look is in, says celeb makeup artist Gita Bass and to get it you don’t need to learn fancy beauty tricks.

Actually, you may need to un-learn a few old habits, like layering on the foundation or using lots of bronzer. These looks are all about tiny tweaks that will go a long way.

Go Brow or Go Home

Brows frame the face and bring your whole look together. This season, bold brows are huge so put down the tweezers, ASAP. Let your brows grow and invest in a brow powder and an eyebrow-defining brush.

Powder is better than a pencil because it clings to the tiniest hairs around your brows, making it easy to create that va-va-voom look. Try going bolder and a little thicker than your usual look and see how it changes your look.

Wing It Out

A good cat eye is the purrfect way to dress up an all-natural makeup look and open up your eye. The key is flicking at the right point on your eyelid.

If you have a more round eye shape, draw the main eyeliner line along your lash line but stop a little bit before your outer corner. Flick up a few millimeters from the outer corner of your eye to lift and elongate.

For more almond-shapes, draw the main line along your entire lash line. Start at the outer corner and end at the inner corner. Be sure to flick out at the end of the outer corner.

Water Your Skin

It’s amazing how much hydration can make your skin glow. Keeping your skin moisturized is a beauty essential if you want to rock the natural look. To really see the difference, hydrate with water and maintain moisture with great skincare products.

Drink about 8 glasses of water per day and switch all of your skincare products to hydrating and gentle formulas. We recommend the New Simple Skincare Micellar Cleansing Water for a cleanser. It’s made to boost your skin’s natural hydration by 90 percent and has added multi-vitamins that will hydrate and fight free-radicals.

Switch to a moisturizer rich in glycerin, like the Simple Skincare Replenishing Moisturizer and if you use cleansing wipes, make sure they have hydrating triple-purified water, like the Simple Skincare Cleansing Facial Wipes.

Try a hyper-hydrating routine for a week and see the difference it can make in your skin!
